Newcastle Quayside Canvas Tequila Sunset. This photograph was taken beside some new apartments above the quayside, looking down across the Newcastle Gateshead Quayside at sunset. From this fantastic viewpoint you can see the whole of the new look quayside. All of the bridges crossing the river tyne are included in this photograph, including the Gateshead Millennium Bridge, the Tyne Bridge, the High Level Bridge and the Swing Bridge. The Tyne and Wear Metro Bridge is only just visible in the far distance. The lights inside the Sage Gateshead building can also be seen on the left of the photograph. There is a clear reflection in the River Tyne from the lights under the walkway part of the Gateshead Millennium Bridge, linking the Baltic Arts Centre and the Sage on the Gateshead side of the Tyne to the Newcastle side of the river.

A wide-angle lens has been used to take this stunning photograph of the Quayside and the bridges. Using this type of lens, gives more depth to the photograph, so that the scene and the bridges appear close to real life. There is a subtle, lead through in this photograph, with the street lights beside the quayside footpath and their diamond star lights, helping the viewer move through the picture into the centre, with the bridges. The eye can then travel around and explore the rest of this exciting photograph. The long exposure, brightens the dark areas of the scene and helps to saturate the colours throughout the photograph.

Choose from an 16×48″ or 20×60″ Canvas print. Added to the sizes is the 16×36″ size that we sell in the kiosk at Central Station. Please note this size crops off the tower blocks from the left hand size. Canvases are printed using our Epson P9000 44″ printer with Epson inks, printed on 280gsm polyester textured canvas. Each canvas is varnished with a semi-gloss liquid varnish to protect and enhance the canvas. The photograph in this canvas, wraps around the edges for a 3D look.
