Train Christmas Metal Baubles

Train Christmas Metal Baubles. Double sided metal Christmas Baubles added to the website today! These new Christmas Baubles feature photographs of trains.

The first new bauble has a photograph of the world famous steam locomotive ‘Flying Scotsman‘. The same photograph is used front and back. This photograph of Flying Scotsman, was taken just passed Grosmont Station and its Engine Shed, on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway back in 2016. Flying Scotsman was hauling a train service heading to Pickering Station. The North Yorkshire Moors Railway was the first preserved railway to operate the engine after its 10 year restoration project was complete.

Our other new bauble has two different photographs of the new Azuma trains printed on it. On one side is a photograph of a Virgin Trains Azuma unit. This was photographed at Newcastle Central Railway Station, back when Virgin Trains were still operating the East Coast Main Line and were running their Azuma test trains. On the other side of the bauble is a photograph of an LNER Azuma train set. Again this train was photographed at Newcastle Station. This photograph was taken after LNER took over running the East Coast Main Line from Virgin Trains and brought the Azuma trains into service to replace the older 125 HST and also the newer, class 91 electric trains.

Train Christmas Metal Baubles, the size of the bauble is 73mm wide and 85mm deep. These baubles come with a silver metal chain to hang the bauble on the Christmas tree branch. The baubles can be found here in the Train Christmas Bauble section of our website.

Newcastle Photo Slates added to the website. More new photo gifts added to the website today. These unique, hand finished and hand printed Photo Slates are the perfect gift for somebody looking for something completely different.

Our current range includes the Angel of the North in the Snow. The Newcastle Gateshead Quayside and Tyne Bridge in the snow. The Newcastle Gateshead Quayside at night, in black and white. Also the Newcastle Gateshead Quayside photographed at sunset.

We offer the Newcastle photo slates in three different sizes, depending upon the photograph. We do square 20x20cm, rectangle 20x30cm and panoramic 14x29cm.

Each photo slate come with two feet to stand the slate for display. Each slate comes in a gift box.

Each slate is made to order, they can take up to two days to be shipped.

New railway gifts added to the website. Lots of new railway gift product getting added, while the Gift Kiosk at Newcastle Central Station is closed due to the 2nd Lockdown restrictions.

Newcastle Snowglobes Added

Newcastle Snowglobes added to the Newcastle Christmas section of the website. These feature different photographs of Newcastle and Gateshead, including the Angel of the North in the Snow and the Newcastle Gateshead Quayside in the snow. Sunset pictures of Tyne Bridge and the Quayside. Also the Gateshead Millennium Bridge at night.

Other photographs include a couple walking across Armstrong Bridge, over Jesmond Dene while it is snowing and a snowman, in the Dene.

Our snow globes come in a clear gift box, with a gift tag included. These make for very popular gifts and presents all year round but are most popular at Christmas time.

Coming soon are our snow globes of Durham City and the Cathedral in the snow.

Railway Greeting Cards added

Railway Greeting Cards added. Steam locomotive greeting cards are now available to purchase from the Railway Greeting Card section of the website. These include photographs of Flying Scotsman, Tornado and the Royal Scot locomotive. We also have The Jacobite steam train crossing Glenfinnin viaduct on the Fort William to Mallaig line. Coming soon are our train, greeting cards of the new LNER and Virgin Train version, Azuma trains.
The photographs have been taken at a variety of locations including Newcastle Railway Station, the North Yorkshire Moors Railway and the West Highland Line between Fort William and Mallaig.

Durham greeting cards added

Durham greeting cards added to the website. The first of our range of A5 size, Durham greeting cards are now available to purchase though the website. These photographs feature our most popular images of Durham City, the Cathedral and Riverbank views.

We have more Durham photographs to add, including our range of Durham Cathedral interior photographs and the Cathedral’s Stained Glass Windows.  So lots more to come soon.

Durham fridge magnets added

Durham fridge magnets added to the website. Work is ongoing to add new products to the site. The first of these are our Durham fridge magnets. These are available in both standard and panoramic formats and provide a nice alternative to our Newcastle fridge magnets.

These Durham fridge magnets include photographs of Durham Castle, the Cathedral and the Riverbanks.
