Armstrong Bridge in the Snow Photographic Print. Newcastle winter photograph of a couple walking across a thick, snow covered Armstrong Bridge, above Jesmond Dene. Large snowflakes can be seen falling as the couple make their way to the end of the bridge. This is a beautiful and romantic winter image. It is a photograph that looks like it is in black and white. This is due to the wintery conditions, when you look at the clothing on the couple, that are walking over the bridge, you can see that their clothing is blue, black and magenta. The young ladies hair is a light brown colour. There are a couple of touches of red clothing in the distance, from figures walking up the bank on the far side. A few other figures can be seen walking up the snow covered road, they look like a couple of young lads, having fun in the snow.
This photograph was taken on New Years Day, back in 2010. A fast shutter speed was used to capture and freeze the falling snow flakes. This was a great day out for winter photography, although parts of Jesmond Dene were a bit tricky to get around.
Armstrong Bridge in the Snow Photographic Print, is printed on heavy weight 240gsm matte paper, which cuts down on reflections. Prints are made on an Epson P9000 printer with 11 inks, these give fantastic depth of colour and neutral and punchy black and white prints.
Please note this picture is supplied mounted, not framed. The print comes a white mount. Each mounted print is packed with a backing card and comes in a cello bag, to keep it clean. Each mount is titled and signed by the photographer.
