This watercolour, painting of Durham Cathedral stands majestically above the trees. Below the towers of Durham Cathedral, is located the Fulling Mill Museum, beside the wear, just poking through the trees. Nice bright summertime painting of this iconic view, the photograph, for this painting was taken standing beside the ‘Pink House’ beside the wear. This summers day has a bright blue sky and attractive big white fluffy clouds passing behind the towers of the Cathedral. This bright sky, helps to make the towers of the Cathedral, really stand out against the sky. The sunlight is catching the front and sides of the towers of Durham Cathedral and the tops of the trees along the banks of the River Wear.
