The lone figure walking towards the base of the Angel really helps the viewer to realise the scale of Antony Gormley’s creation. I was very lucky getting the lady walking through this scene. I had been taking quite a few photographs before hand, then the man appeared just in the perfect spot to complete the photograph. Sometimes you do just get lucky, but you do have to be in the right place at the right time.

This is a little more punchy photograph, showing the Angel of the North statue. This was a cold, wintery day but with more brightness and some clouds in the sky. The darker sky at the top of the photograph and brighter sky behind the Angel, really helps make the sculpture stand out.

The size of the Christmas Card Angel of the North in Winter, is 210x148mm. Each card comes with a white envelope and is cello bagged. The Christmas Card is left blank inside, for your own message. Text on the front of the card is in red and reads ‘Merry Christmas’
