There is snow on the ground and the branches of the trees around the house are covered in a thick white frost, as well as snow, making them really standout against the blue sky behind.

The River Wear is nice and calm, providing a really good reflection of the house and trees. This is a striking photograph, taken on a perfect day for winter photography.
