Durham Christmas Card Snow on the Wear. A5 Christmas card, with a winter photograph of Durham Cathedral, the Fulling Mill and the Riverbanks, with ice and snow frozen on the River Wear and on the rooftop of the Fulling Mill Museum. A bright winters sky, lets the morning sunlight strike the sides of the towers of Durham Cathedral providing a bright contrast to the Fulling Mill and River below. The warm morning sunlight is also lighting up the tops of the tree branches beside the Cathedral. Although there is ice and snow on the top of the river, there is still a good flow of water over the wear running to the Fulling Mill, with a clear patch of water infant of the Fulling Mill.

This photograph was taken in 2010 and it was the first time I had seen the River Wear frozen over, snow had fallen and laid on top of the ice. The previous day had been dull and overcast, while this morning had a bright blue sky, just perfect for photography.

Durham Christmas Card Snow on the Wear, comes in a clear cello bag, with a white envelope. The size of the Christmas Card is 210x148mm. The card is left Blank Inside for your own message.
