Flying Scotsman Cast Iron Sign “Thistle”. Free UK shipping. Cast Iron sign featuring the classic Flying Scotsman steam locomotive header board. This header board was used on the “Flying Scotsman” express London to Edinburgh train service operated by LNER, the service gave it’s name to the famous steam locomotive “The Flying Scotsman”

This Cast Iron sign is hand painted in blue, with white lettering. With two pink and green painted Thistles, one on either side. The size of the sign is approx 40 x17 x0.7cm.

The sign comes with two holes drilled in the centre, ready for hanging on a wall. This is a heavy item, weighing 1.7 KG.

Please note that due to the manufacturing and hand painted nature of this product some slight imperfections will be visible. This is a fantastic item for any railway enthusiast.
