Greeting Card Angel of the North in the snow. A square Greeting card with a stunning winter photograph of the Angel of the North in the snow. The tree branches on both sides of the Angel and the ground are covered in snow. Snow flakes can be seen falling, best highlighted against the dark body of the statue. The figure at the base of the Angel really helps the viewer to realise the scale of Antony Gormley’s creation. I was very lucky getting the man walking through this scene. I had been taking quite a few photographs before hand, then the man appeared just in the perfect spot to complete the photograph. Sometimes you do just get lucky, but you do have to be in the right place at the right time.

This is a beautiful and soft photograph, showing the Angel of the North statue. This was a cold and very wintery day, with lots of snowflakes falling. This is my favourite view of the Angel, including the tree branches on both sides. This helps to fill in and add interest to this photograph. The pale grey sky otherwise would have been very bland due to the conditions on the day.
