This painting of the Strawberry Pub, from Strawberry Place, was taken from a photograph, taken a few years before the pub was refurbished. The Strawberry Pub is famous for both its location and all of the signed football shirts over many years by Newcastle United footballers. It is a very popular meeting place for a pint before a match.

This watercolour painting by local, north east artist Louisa E. Taylor, is one of the first of her watercolour range of paintings, depicting iconic North East landmarks and views.
