Greeting Card Tyne Bridge from Millennium Bridge Watercolour. An A5 Greeting card, with a watercolour painting of the view standing on the Gateshead Millennium Bridge walkway. Looking down the River Tyne, to Tyne Bridge. The High Level Bridge can be seen below Tyne Bridge and the Swing Bridge can be seen closer to the river.

The warm blue tone to this painting comes from the fact that the sun has not risen, so that the sky colour is still a moody blue and grey colour. There is also a lots of warm artificial street lighting on the bridges, these can be seen casting long reflections along the banks of River Tyne on both sides of the river and on the towers at both ends of the Tyne Bridge.

This watercolour painting by local, north east artist Louisa E. Taylor, is one of the first of her watercolour range of paintings, depicting iconic North East landmarks and views.
