Greeting Card Tyne Bridges Watercolour. An A5 Greeting card, with a watercolour painting of the view from beside some new apartments above the quayside, looking down across the Newcastle Gateshead Quayside at sunset. From this fantastic viewpoint you can see the whole of the new look quayside. All of the bridges crossing the river tyne are included in this painting, including the Gateshead Millennium Bridge, the Tyne Bridge, the High Level Bridge and the Swing Bridge. The Tyne and Wear Metro Bridge is only just visible in the far distance. The lights inside the Sage Gateshead building can also be seen on the left of the painting. There is a clear reflection in the River Tyne from the lights under the walkway part of the Gateshead Millennium Bridge, linking the Baltic Arts Centre and the Sage on the Gateshead side of the Tyne to the Newcastle side of the river.

This watercolour painting by local, north east artist Louisa E. Taylor, is one of the first of her watercolour range of paintings, depicting iconic North East landmarks and views.
