Newcastle Autumn Leaves Photograph. Newcastle Autumn Leaves, is a black and white photograph of the Newcastle Gateshead Quayside taken at night. This photograph was taken, standing beside the Guildhall on the quayside and includes the Tyne Bridge, Sage Gateshead and the Gateshead Millennium Bridge. A large tree with its branches and leaves fills the left hand side of the picture and provides a frame over the arch of Tyne Bridge. With the leaves of the tree, illuminated by the street lights, they help to brighten up, what would be a dark, black nighttime sky. The bright, illuminated buildings on the Gateshead side of the quayside, provide a bright centre to the photograph and these lights are reflected in the waters of the River Tyne below.

A single fallen leaf sits on the footpath at the bottom of the frame. Although this photograph was taken at night and has a black sky, it is a very bright and striking picture. It is one of those photographs that you always find something new to look at. Across the Tyne bridge, on the lamppost lights, are nice star bust effects from the camera lens in use. This light spreed increases the brightness in the centre of the photograph. This helps in stopping the different black sky areas from looking to big and dark. The camera was mounted on a tripod, to take this nighttime photograph and a long exposure was used.

Newcastle Autumn Leaves Photograph, is printed on heavy weight 240gsm matte paper, which cuts down on reflections. Prints are made on an Epson P9000 printer with 11 inks, these give fantastic depth of colour and neutral and punchy black and white prints.

Please note this is supplied mounted, not framed. The print comes in a white mount, each print is packed with a backing card and in a cello bag. Each mount is titled and signed by the photographer.
