Newcastle Canvas Tyne Colours Painting, featuring the iconic Newcastle Gateshead skyline, buildings and bridges. The watercolour painting features the iconic buildings and bridges along the quayside. This includes the Sage Gateshead, Tyne Bridge, Newcastle Castle and Grey’s Monument. Bright, bold yellows, reds, purples and greens are the main colour used in this painting. The buildings are bright and solid colour, with the ‘splash’ going up into the sky and flowing down from the buildings and bridges to the base of the painting.

This original watercolour painting is by local artist Louisa E. Taylor and is part of her ‘Splash of Toon‘ range of paintings. Each painting features a unique arrangement and selection of buildings, bridges and landmarks from the Newcastle Gateshead skyline. After deciding on the arrangement of elements, each watercolour painting is created with a completely different colour pallet. The colours that work for one arrangement, so often, just don’t work for a different one. This is often down to the way the buildings and bridges are arranged for the painting. It does make each painting unique and it also makes the whole range of paintings varied and suited to be hung on a wide variety of different colour painted walls. She has also produced a Christmas Card version of this painting.

Choose from an 14×36″ or 18×48″ Canvas print. Canvases are printed using our Epson P9000 44″ printer with Epson inks, printed on 280gsm polyester textured canvas. The printed image wraps around the edges, creating a 3D look to this canvas. The Canvas is stretched round 38mm thick stretcher bars. Each canvas is varnished with a semi-gloss liquid varnish to protect and enhance the canvas. Canvases are finished with hangers and strong framing cord, ready to hang.
