Newcastle Glass Coasters Millennium Bridge Pink. A set of 4 Newcastle Glass Coasters with colour photographic prints inside, of the Newcastle and Gateshead Quayside at Sunset, the Tyne Bridge, the Gateshead Millennium Bridge and Grey’s Monument. The size of the coasters is 100x100mm (4×4 inch) made from toughened and heat resistant glass, with a foam back. There is a black edge to the coasters, this really sets off the photographs inside. The set of coasters are supplied in the gift box as shown. Each set has a label on the back of the box to show the 4 different photographs inside. The glass coasters are hand finished and may have some small imperfections.

The Gateshead Millennium Bridge Pink, is a nighttime photograph of the Gateshead Millennium Bridge, lit across the arch of the bridge with pink lighting. This is reflected into the water of the River Tyne below and illuminates the sky above. This photograph was taken standing on the Swing Bridge and is a calming and pretty picture.

Grey’s Monument is in the heart of Newcastle. Grey’s Monument was built to commemorate Earl Grey, a local politician who was British Prime Minister from 1830 to 1834. The monument was erected to acclaim Earl Grey, for the passing of the Great Reform Act of 1832 and stands at the head of Grey Street. It consists of a statue of Lord Grey standing atop a Roman Doric column on a pedestal of local sandstone, the Monument is 135-foot-high (41 m) in total.

Tyne Bridge Dawn, this photograph was taken, stood on the Gateshead Millennium Bridge walkway. Looking down the River Tyne, to Tyne Bridge. The High Level Bridge can be seen below Tyne Bridge and the Swing Bridge can be seen closer to the river. While it looks like a straightforward photograph to take, but getting the angle right and avoiding the metal support cords on the Gateshead Millennium Bridge, showing in the sky is a bit tricky. The other issue taking a dawn photograph on the Millennium Bridge is that you need to use a tripod, due to needing a long exposure rather than increasing the iso on the camera. A long exposure gives much better image quality and also softens the water, which gives a much clearer reflection of the lights in the River Tyne

Newcastle Gateshead Quayside Sunset is a nighttime photograph looking down the River Tyne, to the Gateshead Millennium Bridge, which is used to frame the Tyne Bridge. On the lefthand side is the Baltic Arts Centre and the Sage Gateshead. This photograph has a lovely warm orange sky, these colours are reflected in the waters of the River Tyne.

The coasters will be packed in a strong card mailing box and are posted on a Signed For service. International orders are posted Tracked.
