New railway products added added to the website. The first of these new products, are our popular British Railway’s, Railway Station Name Metal Totam Fridge Magnets.
The latest fridge magnets added are our Northumberland stations on the East Coast Mainline including Almouth, Alnwick, Morpeth and Berwick-upon-tweed. This fridge magnets have followed on from our Tyneside range, these stations are mostly operated now as part of the Tyne and Wear Metro system. Included, by popular request are a few station names which no longer exist but are popular with railway enthusiasts.
There are plenty more to come over the next few days, these new magnets will feature station names from the Newcastle to Carlisle, Tyne Valley railway line. Keep checking back as there are lots of new products to come.
Closed for Lockdown 3. Our retail shop inside Newcastle Central Station has been closed again thanks to Lockdown number 3. It looks like we will be shut until mid February at the earliest but it could be until Easter! I have not been able to find any information as to when we can re-open, so please keep checking back for more details and/or follow us on social media for more updates.

Kiosk January sale starts 4th January 2021. Newcastle Gifts famous January sale starts in our Gift Kiosk, at Newcastle Central Station on Monday 4th January, when we re-open for the New Year.
Opening times and days in January are Monday and Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. We will be open 10-4pm.
Lots of stock items in the sale. New this year is our 16×20″ mounted print sale box, lots of Newcastle photographs at the bargain price of £10!
We will also have our regular January sale of 1/3rd off all mounted prints, framed prints and canvases. Prices for an 11×14″ mounted print are just £10 and a 16×20″ framed print is now only £30.
Here on the website all of our mounted prints will be offered with sale prices, with a saving of £5. on both the 11×14″ and 16×20″ sizes.
The sale runs until the end of March 2021. This is a popular sale and a fantastic chance to pick-up a bargain.
Back open on December 2nd. Our Gift Kiosk inside Newcastle Central Station is back open from 10am on Wednesday 2nd December. Now that lockdown has ended, we will be back open during December Monday to Saturday 10am to 4.30pm. We have lots of fantastic North East Christmas gifts from Christmas Cards, Snow Globes and Christmas Baubles.
We have our ever popular NUFC wooly and ski hats and scarves. Very popular to keeps Geordies warm, even though there is no football. Lots of other Newcastle United Football Club merchandise including badges, keyrings, magnets, mugs, wallets and snow globes.
We have lots of lovely snow photographs of the Angel of the North, the Newcastle Gateshead Quayside and also Durham City and Durham Cathedral in the snow. These are available as mounted prints and also framed prints, just ready to hang on the wall. Our range of north east art, by local artist Louisa E. Taylor is always a welcome present on Christmas Day. These can be found in the Art and Photography section of the website.
Our range of Geordie books and Geordie cook books are always a popular stocking filler this time of the year.
