Newcastle Twilight Quayside Card. Free UK shipping. A5 size greeting card, with a dramatic colour photograph of the Newcastle Gateshead Quayside taken at twilight. This magnet has a nighttime photograph, taken along the Newcastle Gateshead Quayside, beside some new apartments above the banks of the River Tyne, of the Newcastle Gateshead Quayside looking towards the iconic buildings and bridges crossing the River Tyne. In this photograph you can see the Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art, the Sage Gateshead music and concert venue, the Gateshead Millennium Bridge, the Tyne Bridge and Swing Bridge. To the left hand side, beside the Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art, are some new flats. Hanging on the front of the Baltic building is a huge banner promoting one of the exhibitions inside. The long exposure required to take this photograph, has saturated the artificial lighting, coming from the street lighting running along the walkway, along the quayside. This warm, yellow lighting really brightens up the quayside footpath.

The purple lighting on the span of the Gateshead Millennium Bridge, is mirrored in the light in the sky, behind the bridge. The sky, goes from a purple colour, to a blue/grey colour. Then to darker but brighter blue colour, at the top of this photograph, behind the bright white street lamp.
