Newcastle Glass Coasters Quayside Twilight B&W. A set of 4 Newcastle Glass Coasters with black and white photographic prints inside, of the Newcastle and Gateshead Quayside and Tyne Bridge, the Gateshead Millennium Bridge and Tyne Bridge Autumn Leaves. The size of the coasters is 100x100mm (4×4 inch) made from toughened and heat resistant glass, with a foam back. There is a black edge to the coasters, this really sets off the photographs inside. The set of coasters are supplied in the gift box as shown. Each set has a label on the back of the box to show the 4 different photographs inside. The glass coasters are hand finished and may have some small imperfections.

Newcastle Gateshead Twilight Quayside, is a nighttime black and white photograph of the Newcastle Gateshead Quayside. The sun has set, leaving a pale grey sky, contrasting against the  artificial lights, from the street lights and lights inside the Sage Gateshead. This is framed inside the span of the Gateshead Millennium Bridge’s arch and its reflection in the River Tyne. Standing just passed the Pitcher and Piano restaurant and bar on the quayside and using the quayside walkway to create the left to right composition for the viewers eyes to move through this photograph, from the Millennium Bridge and Sage Gateshead to the Tyne Bridge in the distance.

Newcastle Autumn Leaves, is a black and white photograph of the Newcastle Gateshead Quayside taken at night. This photograph was taken, standing beside the Guildhall on the quayside and includes the Tyne Bridge, Sage Gateshead and the Gateshead Millennium Bridge. A large tree with its branches and leaves fills the left hand side of the picture and provides a frame over the arch of Tyne Bridge. With the leaves of the tree, illuminated by the street lights, they help to brighten up, what would be a dark, black nighttime sky. The bright, illuminated buildings on the Gateshead side of the quayside, provide a bright centre to the photograph and these lights are reflected in the waters of the River Tyne below.

Tyne Bridge is a dramatic black and photograph photograph of the Tyne Bridge and the Newcastle Gateshead Quayside taken at twilight. The sun has set, leaving a dark sky, contrasting against the artificial lights.The lights inside the span of Tyne Bridge really make it standout against the dark of the sky. The traffic and figures on the quayside footpath and road give this photograph a real sense of life and movement. A high tide and still conditions on the River Tyne produce a very clear reflection of the bridges in the water. Including the walkway and railing helps takes the viewers eyes through this photograph, from front to back, taking you through to Tyne Bridge and the High Level Bridge and Swing Bridge below.

Newcastle Gateshead Quayside is a nighttime black and white photograph looking down the River Tyne, to the Gateshead Millennium Bridge, which is used to frame the Tyne Bridge. On the lefthand side is the Baltic Arts Centre and the Sage Gateshead. This is bright and punchy photograph with a dramatic sky and lots of bright light from the street lighting along the quayside.
