Whitley Bay Glass Coasters

Whitley Bay Glass Coasters. A set of 4 Newcastle Glass Coasters with photographic prints inside, of Whitley Bay, Spanish City and St. Mary’s Lighthouse. The size of the coasters is 100x100mm (4×4 inch) made from toughened and heat resistant glass, with a foam back. There is a black edge to the coasters, this really sets off the photographs inside. The set of coasters are supplied in the gift box as shown. Each set has a label on the back of the box to show the 4 different photographs inside. The glass coasters are hand finished and may have some small imperfections.

Photograph of the Spanish City at Whitley Bay. The iconic ‘Dome’, completed in 1910, has undergone a major renovation and is now home to some fantastic restaurants, venues, cafe’s and shops, all right beside the coast and just a short walk from St. Mary’s Lighthouse on the North East coast. This daytime photograph of the building was taken, looking towards the front of the building, through the gardens area located, towards the new shops, cafes and fish and chip restaurant are located.

Sunset at St. Mary’s Lighthouse, photograph of the lighthouse at Whitley Bay. Located on St. Mary’s Island, this photograph shows the lighthouse reflected in the approach causeway to the island as the tide is starting to submerge it. The clouds behind the lighthouse have lovely evening colours from the setting sun, these are reflected in the water surrounding the island. Including the causeway to the lighthouse, provides the viewer a lead-through into the main part of the photograph, which is the lighthouse and it’s reflection. The viewer can then explore the lovely colours and clouds in the sky and then the reflections of the sky in the water surrounding the lighthouse.

St. Mary’s Lighthouse, photographed further up the coast on a bright summers day. With a sandy bay in front of the lighthouse, a lone figure is standing on the sand taking in the fantastic view of St. Mary’s island and the lighthouse.

The fourth coaster has a summer photograph looking along the beach at Whitley Bay to the houses and shops along the seafront. The white dome of Spanish City is visible on the righthand side of the photograph.

The coasters will be packed in a strong card mailing box and are posted on a Signed For service. International orders are posted Tracked.
